Are colored contact lenses more susceptible to infection compared to ';clear'; ones? If so--why?

Only because if you use them for cosmetic reasons, you probably aren't responsible and won't take care of them. I had one pair, once. It was cool, but I can't afford cosmetic enhancements. i am not aware of any study which can prove that.. knowing that colored and clear lenses are composed of exactly the same material, but anyway handle your colored lenses with care like they're donated hearts about to be transplanted and you'll do fine.
