You sure can...alot of safety glasses or biker glasses are just clear lens,,,for eye protection...A lot of bike shops,,auto stores or even walmart sell them....
my glasses just have colour lenses that help with my dyslexia (Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome), anyway people never notice that there is no prescription in my glasses, so i don't see any reason why they would for you. The glasses you try on at the optometrist often have clear lenses already in them, but you would want to get them replaced with glass that is the same quality as what they use for prescriptions, because those lenses are pretty cloudy. I'm sure it's do-able, just talk to a good optometrist, one with lots of nice fashion frames.
I would guess actors would sometimes use them if they don't need glasses so I guess they'd have to get them somewhere, I'd go do a search on Ebay if I were you, failing that ring your local optician. I'm sure they'd quite happily sort you out with a frame and pair of flat lenses for the usual fees.

Yes it is possible. A small number of people actually do this just to wear glasses as a fashion accessory. It may not be so common here, but the French adore les lunettes.

I was in the garden a few years ago and leaning forward to look at a plant and it got it stuck in my eye.WELL! Plain glasses also serve as a protection from spitting if the saliva is harbouring germs...and I'm sure there's lots of uses too.

yes, they are just clear plastic lenses. In the Dr office they have pairs you can try on with these lenses in them. I'm sure they could order you a pair with the clear lenses.
