If the contacts are coming from my actual opticians, in the post, etc... IS IT FACT that glasses are BETTER than contacts?Do glasses give clearer vision than contact lenses?
Not always, it depends on the prescription in your eyes. If you have astigmatism, then glasses will give you better and more stable vision as a contact lens can rotate a little in your eyes and so the vision can often fluctuate. If you have minimal astigmatism, then contact lenses can often give you vision as good as your glasses.
With rigid gas permeable lenses, your vision can often be better than in glasses as the firm shape of the lens allows your tears to mask any irregularities in the front surface of your eye (cornea) and hence give you sharper vision.Do glasses give clearer vision than contact lenses?
It's a personal fact for me. I've has so many problems with contacts, irritation, dryness, not being able to use them when I need them.
I've always hated glasses, now it's my only choice.
Then I began to notice that all my eye doctors were wearing glasses, so to me that says something. If they wear glasses and not contacts then there is a good reason. Good enough for me because now that I use my glasses I haven't had any of the problems that I had with contacts and my vision is clearer.
Hmm well.... Glasses you don't have to shove anything onto your eye and you still get clear vision... With your contacts, you poke yourself in the eye, making it water and burn... but clearer vision. And it varies from person to person... it depends on what you like more... everyone has their own preferences. Good luck!
