Is anyone consider having the clear lens exchange surgery done to improve eyesight?

I had the procedure done a little over a year ago and it has been the most amazing thing I have ever done. It was nice to be seeing 20-20 again in less than a day. I would recommend it to anyone who has fairly poor eyesight and their optometrist told them they were not a candidate for lasik. It sure makes the water activities much nicer and seeing the clock in the morning is something else. Any comments from others?Is anyone consider having the clear lens exchange surgery done to improve eyesight?
I am thinking to undergo this surgery but I am not so confident about it. As recently there were news about some patients who had this surgery were infected. Plus if this surgery is really good, then why doctors or those who are medical experts are still wearing glasses? This is my opinion...
