them for more than what recommended? Can those lenses cause infection or damage to my eyes? I've been using them for 6 weeks, and I need to buy another. Which type is convenience and affordable to purchase?
Any advise from you guys who experience using contact lenses would be appreciated. My eye doctor gave me Pro Clear lenses which he said can be used up to 1 month. What will happen if I use?
The thing with wearing lenses longer that what they were designed for is that the material starts to deteriorate , in the sense that it loses it's ability to hold moisture as well, therefore oxygen doesn't get through to your cornea as easy anymore. So it isn't as healthy for your eyes as they should be. Your chances of getting an infection really increase after 2 months use. That is the same with any monthly lens.
The proclear are an excellent lens by the way.
Being as you only have that one pair, I presume they are the trial pair the Dr. gave you, and you were probably supposed to go back for a recheck of the fit. Then order the boxes of 6 lenses.
Those are the brand your Dr. prescribed for you , so you can't change brands unless he prescribes something else.My eye doctor gave me Pro Clear lenses which he said can be used up to 1 month. What will happen if I use?
the thing with the contacts is that when u wearthem they fill up with bacteria, and when u put them in the solution it only kills a large percent of the bacteria, so it is smart to only use them for that amount of time
