That is what I have always done with mine. You don't want to use cleaning products, such as soap, since it would leave a residue. I always rinse mine with clear water and let it dry.
Every time you take your lenses out of it you should rinse it with the hottest tap water you can, then let it air dry.


You should also clean it well every week or so. I place mine in the dish washer as it gets really hot and the detergent often has bleach in it. Make sure to rise out with solution before putting your lenses back in it.





Also replace your case often (every time you buy more solution)
placed it in a pan of water on the stove and take it out just before or as it starts to boil, let it cool and it should be fine. (if it's really thin plastic this won't work, the heavy plastic ones do)
