What can I use to clean it off? Will Insta Clears work?Is it safe to use insta clears on my canon camera lens?
I am against all fluids on lenses - even lens cleaning fluids - use them enough and in a few years you will have molds. Camera lenses are not like glasses lenses, they can trap moistures like cleaning fulids and the end result is molds.
Use a micro fibre cloth. Get one from a glasses shop or photographic supplier - camera shops.

I, too, am against using any liquids on a lens even when done properly. Buy a lens cloth (I use both Pentax ans PhotoSilk) and gently breathe on the lens.
Once your lens is clean, buy a good quality (Hoya, Tiffen, B+W) UV or Skylight filter and keep it on your lens 24/7 unless you are going to use a polarizer filter.
To tell you the truth I have never heard of insta clears, and I have owned a commercial photography studio for over 40 years.
Here is how you should clean a camera lens. First to go to a camera store and purchase a lens cleaning kit. Make sure that kit includes lens cleaning fluid, lintless lens cleaning tissues, and a blower brush.
Before you do anything else to your lens used the blower brush to remove any particles and grit from your lens. Then add a drop of lens cleaning fluid onto your lens, and then gently clean it with the lens cleaning tissue.
When you run out of lens cleaning fluid and tissues, you can purchase these items for a little less money from any optical store. Keep your lens cleaning brush however and always use it before doing anything else to your lens.
the glass lens on your cameras like the lens of glasses if the cleaners are for glasses lenses then it will also work for camera lenses. even windex window cleaner will work if you have soft cloths like even t-shirt soft material
Take your camera into a camera store and buy some lens tissue and lens cleaning fluid and then have the sales person show you how to use it safely
